If you want to hear me embarrass myself, you can go here: www.youtube.com and you'll hear yet another reason why I should not sing. But the instrumentals were alright. And I've learning a lot since that track, so I went ahead and applied some EQ'ing and compression to individual parts, as well as the whole mix in general. I figure this should be a start in sort of balancing all the metal I've been posting lately. Don't get me wrong. I love Metal, but I've more up my sleeve than Metal. :) If you want to know more, I took the recording scheme from Red Hot Chili Peppers, and specifically the One Hot Minute album, where Dave Navarro was the guitarist at the time. You'll notice that one guitar is mixed all the way to the left, while the other guitar is mixed all the way to the right doing something totally different. I should try this more often!
